We are seeking an experienced Nutanix consultant to support the administration, optimization, and ongoing success of enterprise Nutanix environments. This role will serve as a trusted technical advisor, providing expertise across infrastructure operations, automation, application migrations, security, and lifecycle management.
This position is primarily remote within the United States, with occasional travel for customer meetings or project activities. Travel is expected to be minimal and generally limited to one or two onsite meetings per year.

THESE ARE THE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A NUTANIX CONSULTANT:
- Administer, support, and troubleshoot Nutanix infrastructure environments
- Perform day 2 operational activities, including monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Nutanix platform services and associated infrastructure components
- Develop and support Nutanix automation and orchestration workflows
- Plan, coordinate, and execute migrations of applications and workloads to Nutanix environments
- Implement and support micro-segmentation solutions and security policy management
- Analyze and resolve infrastructure, performance, and operational issues
- Document changes to deployed architectures, configurations, and operational procedures
- Provide technical expertise, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to customer personnel as needed
- Prepare and deliver weekly status reports using established customer and organizational procedures
- Collaborate effectively with customers, project teams, and technical stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Follow all customer security, access, and compliance requirements
YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE EVERYTHING ABOVE BECAUSE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE LIKE:
- 7+ years of consulting experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments
- Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 60 days of employment
- Working knowledge of:
- Virtualization technologies
- Enterprise storage platforms
- Networking concepts and technologies
- Hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI)
- Experience supporting day 2 operations – administration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of Nutanix environments
- Experience with Nutanix automation and orchestration solutions
- Experience planning and executing application migrations to Nutanix platforms
- Experience implementing and maintaining micro-segmentation and security policy management solutions
- Ability to create and maintain accurate technical documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to varied audiences
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- Experience working in federal government, defense, or highly regulated environments
- Experience delivering technical training, workshops, or formal knowledge transfer sessions
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise Nutanix deployments

- Location: Remote within the United States
- Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings, project milestones, or team collaboration activities
- Expected travel is minimal, typically no more than one or two onsite meetings per year
- Pay: up to $150,000 per year
