We are seeking an experienced NetApp Professional Services Consultant to support a large-scale enterprise storage environment. This consultant will be responsible for storage optimization, tenant rebalancing, performance engineering, and deployment of new NetApp infrastructure within complex cloud-native and virtualized environments.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in NetApp technologies and extensive experience supporting Kubernetes-based platforms, including OpenShift and OpenStack.

THESE ARE THE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A NETAPP CONSULTANT:
- Design and implement a storage rebalancing program to identify tenant placement opportunities and execute migrations across clusters and arrays to optimize utilization and performance
- Develop and deploy Quality of Service (QoS) policies across the storage environment to ensure workload performance and resource allocation objectives are met
- Establish reporting and monitoring solutions for performance analysis, capacity planning, and traffic engineering
- Execute Methods of Procedure (MOPs) to expand, optimize, and maintain the storage infrastructure
- Deploy and integrate new NetApp storage arrays into switched cluster environments
- Support storage segregation and architecture requirements for OpenStack, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Trident environments
- Provide recommendations for storage architecture improvements, scalability, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to support ongoing storage initiatives
YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE EVERYTHING ABOVE BECAUSE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE LIKE:
- Strong hands-on experience with NetApp enterprise storage platforms, including ONTAP administration and cluster management
- Experience designing and executing storage migrations, rebalancing initiatives, and performance optimization projects
- Expertise with NetApp QoS policies and storage performance tuning
- Experience deploying and managing NetApp storage in Kubernetes environments
- Required experience with:
- OpenShift
- Trident
- Kubernetes
- OpenStack
- Experience integrating storage solutions within switched cluster environments
- Ability to create and execute detailed MOPs and implementation plans
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- NetApp certifications (NCDA, NCIE, NS0-series certifications)
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Python, or PowerShell
- Familiarity with cloud-native storage architectures and containerized application platforms
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or service provider environments
