- SHIFT: Wednesday night through Friday night, and every other Saturday night. 7pm – 7am
THESE ARE THE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A HPM (HAZARDOUS MATERIALS) TECHNICIAN:
- Respond quickly to system alarms and potentially critical situations, perform rapid and accurate situational assessments and troubleshoot facility’s liquid chemical and specialty gas system components
- Perform routine tote, drum, and gas cylinder change outs utilizing existing procedures methods
- Identify causes of system and equipment failures, determine appropriate corrective actions, and implement these corrections promptly to mitigate the effects of system upsets
- Provide technical support for the 24-hour operations team and be willing to respond to onsite call-in situations after hours
- Work with engineers and operations in updating and maintaining SOPs and other system documentation
- Create assets, job plans, and set up PMs in FMS
- Manage CM’s, PM’s, and other work as required
- Perform other job-related tasks as required
YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE EVERYTHING ABOVE BECAUSE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE LIKE:
- 3+ years of hands-on technical maintenance experience preferably in a semiconductor environment or other related industry
- Understanding of liquid chemical distribution systems and components as well as specialty gas systems and components
- Ability to read, understand, and update mechanical, electrical, chemical, and controls system drawings, SOPs
- Computer/software skills – Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP, and AutoCAD
- High school diploma or equivalent with preferred 5 years of relevant experience or 3 years of experience in an alternate technical field
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS ROLE:
- Daily use of protective gear including a tight-fitting respirator; candidates must be clean-shaven in the sealing area to meet safety requirements
- Must be able to pass a respirator fit test for safety and compliance
- Candidates with medical or religious restrictions regarding facial hair are encouraged to discuss potential reasonable accommodations (such as loose-fitting PAPRs) during the interview process
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry tools and parts
- Standing for long periods, walking, and using abdominal/lower back muscles to support daily task’s
- Good manual dexterity (using hands, arms, and two hands) and, often, the ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and navigate tight, uneven environments
- Ability to perform tasks while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
