Role Summary

The Digital Manufacturing Engineer role is a position with responsibility for gathering business requirements and providing support for the development, testing, deployment, and continual improvement of digital manufacturing solutions. These systems are used by Operations (shop-floor), Quality, Laboratories, Maintenance, and by the Commercial, HR, and Finance organizations.

In this role, you can expect to have some of these responsibilities:

  • Work with Industry 4.0 solution providers, equipment manufacturers, and the ERP vendor to design and implement the required systems integrations points and data flow to achieve best in class lights-out-manufacturing
  • Work with solution providers to develop, implement, and continuously improve MES, SCADA, and KPI outputs
  • Partner with Division IT to ensure compliance with corporate IT policies, the IT internal control framework, and cybersecurity
  • Partner with Division Data Office to support Corporate and Division data governance and master data policies and initiatives
  • Partner with other Divisions to ensure standardization and best practices are implemented and synergies are gained with common solutions, knowledge sharing and support
  • Other duties as prescribed by the Manager, Quality Management Systems
