The Deployment Technician will work within a team environment to receive and deploy technology in a professional setting across our customers’ North Dallas area locations.
This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with exceptional employee benefits and an excellent entry-level opportunity in IT services.
DEPLOYMENT TECHNICIANS AT TSP TYPICALLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Imaging and managing of computer equipment
- Check in items from the dock into our storage
- Working with a team on projects
- Able to carry 25 lbs
- Scheduling with customers
THE IDEAL PERSON FOR THIS ROLE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE SUCH AS:
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and minor IT experience is required; training will also be provided
- Strong customer service skills
- Good time management
- Ability to multitask
- Organization and attention to detail
- Working Knowledge of Office 365, including MS Outlook for emails and calendars, would be beneficial
- Experience with any ticketing or customer management system is strongly preferred
- Requires a minimum of a high school diploma (or GED / high school equivalence certificate)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS ROLE:
- Must have a valid driver’s license, private transportation, and current automobile insurance (may be required to transport equipment between nearby office locations; business mileage reimbursed)
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs; must also be able to walk long distances, sit, stand, bend/stoop, and have dexterity of hands/fingers for working with computer equipment
- Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
